There’s a moment in every journey when everything cracks open. The stories we told ourselves no longer hold. The spaces we fought to belong in reveal they were never built for us to thrive. The reckoning comes—not to destroy, but to reveal.
Mine was not quiet. It arrived like a flood: swift, disorienting, and merciless in its clarity. But in hindsight, it was never about the fall. It was about the clearing.
Because when the dust settled, what was left was truth. And from that truth, something new could finally be built—not as a version of what was, but as a blueprint for what could be.
Rebuilding isn’t just about restoring what was lost. It’s about reclaiming what was always yours: your voice, your values, your vision. It’s about anchoring in what you know now and daring to believe that life after the breaking can be deeper, freer, more aligned.
And here’s what I know for sure:
You can rise without bitterness;
You can heal without erasing what happened;
You can lead without apology;
You can begin again—with both feet on solid ground.
This chapter isn’t about revenge. It’s about restoration.
So let the reckoning be a teacher. But let the rebuild be the legacy.
Because there is power in starting over—not from scratch, but from wisdom.
And this time, you get to build it all on your terms :-).
